Local to Clear Yacht Interior’s home base, M/Y TATS was docked at the famous Dennis Conner’s North Cove Marina in New York City where her refit was ongoing. Our work encompassed the redesign of the main salon and dining area, replacement of all soft goods in four staterooms, the fit out of all dining cabinetry and exterior furniture and seating updates.
The fit-out of the cabinetry was extensive having to increase/maximize storage capacity, configure space to accommodate various sizes and types of crystal, glassware and china, eliminate movement of service ware during rough seas and provide easy access to the back of deep cabinets.
All work was custom designed, built and installed locally with a mobile workshop at hand. The design featured pull out drawers for easy access, custom shaped/rotating pegs to secure pieces, custom cut-outs to fit exact proportions of select pieces and hand felted liners. Of considerable note was the “accordion” style fit in the armoire where storage was built on the inside doors which folded into the interior shelves for maximum storage and ease of access.
